Genesis 1-11 | August 20, 2023 | Pastor Justin Bebb “Remembering the First Things” 1. There is one God who created the world and everything in it. (1) 2. God made mankind in His image, as His representative rulers. (1-2) 3. Mankind committed treason against God and now lives and rules for self. (3:1-7) 4. God rightly judged their sin but also graciously promised a Savior. (3:8-24) 5. Mankind’s sin fills the world and God judges the world with a flood. (4-9:17) 6. God made a new start, but man’s sin causes them to be scattered. (9:18-11)
