Genesis 2:18-25 | November 13, 2022 | Pastor Justin Bebb “Marriage: God’s Creation Design” 1.God created humanity to need relationships. (2:18) 2. Adam ruled over creation, but there was none compatible with him. (2:19-20) 3. God created woman from man so he would have a compatible relationship. (2:21-23) 4. God created marriage (2:24): a. To be a covenantal relationship between one man and one woman. b. To be the primary relationship for those who are married. c. To be a self-sacrificial relationship that pictures Christ and the church. d. To be an intimate relationship. 5. Adam and Eve’s marriage consisted of trust and unity without sin. (2:25)
