1. The church is called: a. to steward sound doctrine that teaches the true gospel. (1:3-4) b. to truly love others by teaching them the truth. (1:5) c. to protect people from those that teach a false gospel. (1:6-7) d. to use God’s Word to show us our sin and our need of a Savior. (1:9-11) Application:
