Upholding the Truth Means Rejecting the False
1. God is not surprised when false believers fall away: a. by their rejection of the truth. (4:1a) b. by falling for the lies of Satan and this age. (4:1b) 2. Do not embrace false teachers even though they confidently teach their lies. (4:2) 3. Many false teachings are rooted in legalism. (4:3a) 4.
