Acts 14:1-28 | March 27, 2022 | Pastor Justin Bebb “Proclaiming, Suffering and Persevering Faith” 1. The gospel continued to advance, while unbelievers stirred up persecution. (14:1-7) 2. God used Paul to heal a man as witness to the gospel. (14:8-10) 3. The people rejected the gospel through: a. Attempting to worship man. (14:11-18) b. Attempting to murder a messenger of the gospel. (14:19-20) 4. Paul and Barnabas encouraged the believers: a. To persevere in faith through many trials. (14:21-22) b. By appointing elders in every church to shepherd them. (14:23) 5. Mission report: God was leading the Gentiles to saving faith in Christ. (14:24-28)
