Jesus: The True High Priest
1. Jesus is the True and Better High Priest: a. Therefore, we are called to hold fast our confession of faith. (4:14) b. Jesus truly represents us in His perfect obedience and calls us to draw near to Him by grace. (4:15-16) c. All other high priests were sinners, like us, whose sacrifice for sins included their own. (5:1-4) d. Because God appointed His Son to be the King who sacrificed Himself for the sins of His people. (5:5-10) Application:
