Jesus: The Complete and Completed Sacrifice
1. Jesus’ sacrifice is better because: a. He is in the presence of God on behalf of His people. (9:23-24) b. It was once for all to completely deal with sin. (9:25-26) c. He will return to save. (9:27-28) d. The Old Covenant’s sacrifices were repeated because they were insufficient to save. (10:1-4) e. It put an end to the need for the Old Covenant sacrifices. (10:5-10) f. It truly perfected God’s people to be with Him forever. (10:11-14) Application:
