Acts 4:13-22 | October 17, 2021 | Pastor Justin Bebb “Boldly Proclaiming What We Have Seen and Heard” 1. The powerful council is shocked because they have no argument against the common followers of Jesus. (4:13-14) 2. The council could not correct the disciples because the healing verified the message about Jesus. (4:15-16) 3. The council could not stop the evidence, so they tried to stop the message. (4:17-18) 4. Disciples of Jesus joyfully fear God and speak of what He has said and done. (4:19-20) 5. The council’s fear of man kept them from punishing the disciples. (4:21-22)
